Where to ride in the gainesville area?

I recently moved from st petersbur florida where there were so many places to go jetskiing. Im now at UF and living in gainesville. Any reccomendations on where to ride.

I saw Newmans lake but it doesnt exactly look like youd want to go tubing in there. Is lake santa fe the best bet?

Does anyone ride around here?
