| Re: Tennessee River 600 I just returned from this event for 2010. We traveled 600 miles down the TN river starting in Knoxville and stopping at Paris Landing State Park, TN. Several of us took a side trip down the Tennessee-Tom Bigby River to the first dam, for a round trip of 90 mi. Then 5 of us (on our own, not part of the TN600) continued down the TN River to the Ohio River, up the Ohio for 10 miles, then 223 miles up the Cumberland River to Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville). We traveled 1034 miles on the skis in 9 days. Weather was great and it was the most awesome ride!!!!!!!!! I understand the TN 600 is the longest organized ride in the country. Any serious jetskier should try this ride at least once. Expect to spend around $150-200/day for registration, hotels, meals, and gas. |
