Thing is...most of the peeps in FL that I know do not have cruisers....like myself...most have modded freestyle skis...

My range is limited to about 1o miles... LOL

You might want to find something with a wee bit wider range.... If you want, check out the thread I started last year in our venture.. It may help give you some ideas as to where to stay, items to bring and other considerations.....unfortunately, high winds prevented our cross during the time frame we had hoped to go..... YES! I wanted to sign up for the trip last year, but it was full, then got cancelled. I am in 100%, no cancelling. I bought a seadoo rxt brand new last year and am anxious to go on some long distance trips in south Fla. I just rented a house with a boat lift on the Caloosahatchee for the year to keep her running all the time. I am also anxious to meet some other Fort Myers pwc'ers to show me the lay of the water here! Does anyone have dates in mind? When does the water warm up?

its always warm, but the definition of warm varies. if i had a cruiser that would seem like a sick trip
