Hello from Clearwater, FL

Hi everyone!!

Do I fit into this environment?? I just bought a 2006 SeaDoo Sportster SCIC 215HP. I currently can find no background on the unit. All BRP shops in the area have never worked on it, it has never had warranty work done. There is one shop in the Ft Myers area that went out of business where it came from. Am currently working on getting it ready for the season: changed the plugs, coolant, working on the oil tomorrow, and saving up for the supercharger rebuild. It has 131 hours and runs great on the water. Wondering who's in the area? I previously owned a Bayliner 15' jet boat (OMG what a nightmare) and a 1997 21' Wellcraft Cuddy with 5.0L Ford and VolvoPenta OD. Mostly enjoy cruising and heading to the islands to just chill and explore. I am extremely looking forward to getting back out onto the water......I've had a 5 1/2 year hiatus.

Re: Hello from Clearwater, FL

Welcome,
I have always wanted a jet boat. I was wondering do they ride like big jet skies, are they good in the choop? How would you say that it compares to a standard boat?
