Dan,

Initially, things were going very well for us. The boat was quick, Jeremy was on, and we had no issues.

I can't really say much else about the Am Open race. The first moto had some controversy with missed bouys, and the second moto had the fatal crash. For me I am happy with the win being awarded to Cesare to honor and immortalize him.

What I can say is that Jeremy finished 4th in the qualifier taking it safe, and he was the first finisher to not miss bouys in moto 1, crossing the line in 3rd. We will try again next year, and I am confident that the IJSBA will work hard to insure safety in 2010.
