when do you stop riding for the season?

I was wondering when you stop riding for the season. We had a great weekend at Barren River and seem to have some busy weekends coming up. We don't own any wetsuits and my wife and kids do not enjoy being wet and cold. I need to take my Waverunners in for their 10 hour service this week so I'm wondering if I should just say my season is over and get them winterized too. Any opinions are appreciated?

Re: when do you stop riding for the season?

I'm shopping for a cute wetsuit jacket. I'm determined to ride until late Sept/early October.

C'mon man...... 10 hrs and your ready to pack in in for the winter. No way... Dont do it. There is still plenty of riding to do. If you dont want to ride into Nov/Dec get a shorty wetsuit and ride thru October at least.. No too expensive at all for a shorty.. I got a Bodyglove shorty for like 39.00 bucks. I'm gonna call your servicing dealer and tell him not to let you winterize it..

LOL

Seriously it's not me, it's the wife and kids that will complain about being cold and making my life misearable. I wish I could go out on my own but that won't be happening.

Yeah but dont do it just yet. Get a couple more rides in if you can. My wife wont go in the cold so I usually do that solo. I did get my 5 yr old a shorty suit but I dont think he can tolerate the cold either.
But seriously . do whats best for you and the family. Gotta keep the wife happy..

Where did you get your shorty at for that price? Sounds like a heck of a deal.

I got it end of the season a couple years ago. The crazy thing is that I got a tiny one for my son and it cost 70.00 . nuts. I wondered if mine was marked wrong....

Objection - assumes facts not in evidence.
Maybe you meant when do we start wearing a wetsuit?

Check out this site... it has a huge selection. If you can find one better let me know I'm looking for a wetsuit jacket. (not the whole biker shorts look, just the jacket) lol.
