| Trailer Maintenance Trailer Maintenance: I always start at the front of the trailer and make my way back to the rear. First I inspect the tongue and locking device. I use WD-40 spraying it under the tongue and on the locking device. Also check the electrical hookup; I put electrical clear gel inside so it doesn’t corrode. Then moving back I look at the bunks that the PWC sits on. Making sure that they are secure with the bolts from underneath and that the boards are good and not cracked or broken, also I inspect the carpet making sure there is no breaks that could scratch the PWC from underneath. Then I check the wheels, rims, spare tire, axle(s), leaf springs or shocks and bearings. You need to lube your bearings at least once a year. Make sure that all others are in top shape. Then moving to the rear of the trailer I inspect the lights. Clearance, signal, stop, running, you may need a helper in this case. Or what I do is drive to your local strip mall when most people are gone and drive to the windows and turn around and check your lights in your mirror. Make sure that all are running and functioning correctly. I hope this may help you and prevent a problem from ruining your water time. Hope to see ya'll on the water soon!!!!!!! Steve
