pulling a tube

Does anybody know the Kentucky regulations for pulling a tube or skier? I found this:

Quote:
Persons being towed on any device must wear a Type I, II or III PFD. Boats (including personal watercraft) towing skiers must have, in addition to the operator of the boat, an observer 12 years of age or older or a wide angle rearview mirror mounted so that the operator can check on the skier but still give full attention to traffic ahead. There must be adequate seating for all riders.
My question is do the factory mirrors on my Waverunners cover me or do I need a spotter? I can see behind me really good on my FX so I would use that one. The VX mirrors are a waste.

Thanks

Greg

Re: pulling a tube

i'm pretty certain that you have to have a spotter with you while pulling anything on a ski to be legal.

Re: pulling a tube

your mirrors will be fine and legal, but you can not have more people than what ski is rated for. If it is a two seater, that means one on ski and one in tube, not 2 on ski and one in tube.
