Post Nolin Lake ride

Took my 2004 GTX SeaDoo for a run in Nolin Lake. Entered at Iberia recreational park. Arrived at around 11:00 am CT. Hardly any one parked there. The ramp is adequate - no designated launch/retrieve sections, just one ramp - like others on the lake. The only thing I did not like, which is rather odd, is the lack of docs for parking the boat to retreive / park your trailer. The rocks are putting scratches on my gelcoat.

Overall, the 'Doo handled quite well for a fresh water lake (used to going in salt/brakish water). Gotta get used to the traffic on the water - quite spoiled in the James and Nanesemond Rivers in VA.

Re: Nolin Lake ride

Sunday was definitely right-out - much more rain that even Saturday. WTF - weather was supposed to be mostly cloudy, not cloudy with 100 percent chance of rain and torrential downpours. Not to mention cooler temps, bet the lake water was warmer than the air.

Postponed 'til next weekend...
