WB1 oil block off

I've decided to convert my 93 blaster. I have the block off plate and I'm not exactly sure what order to do the installation. Is it really as easy as put the plate on the motor and plug the carb? I read somewhere on this forum (can't find it anymore) that I should mix it first, run it so the lines get some fuel, and then disassemble the oil injection. Also, would I still mix it at a 50:1 ratio with a protec head? I don't know anything more about the head other than it is a pro-tec so if I need to post a pic just let me know. Thanks for any help.

Re: WB1 oil block off

I personally mix mine 40:1....50:1 is fine, but yes pre mix your fuel and run it on the hose BEFORE you take the oil injection apart. Won't take long, you will see the pre mix in the fuel filter. Good luck and have fun!!!!
