WB1 fuel filter assembly

My service manual doesn't elaborate on this......how do I open the plastic assembly housing to get at the filter? My only guess is to pry at the seam where it looks like it snaps together? Thanks!

Re: WB1 fuel filter assembly

No Sh!t, so that entire thing is the actual filter? I guess that makes it a little easier, but probably not cheaper! Thanks for the fast reply!!

You can find them on fleabay, its one unit. If you take it apart, I don't think you can seal it back up.
I just get new ones.

Re: WB1 fuel filter assembly

Cool, sounds good. That's much easier, then. As for those little zip tie looking hose "clamps", can those just be replaced with small zip ties? They don't seem like they are anything special.

Small zip ties will do. Something better then nothing.

Re: WB1 fuel filter assembly

Check at your local autozone..Take your old one in to compare.

They aren't that expensive and you could probably get one for what you would be paying in shipping through someone else.
