Does anybody know who made this pipe or what pipe it is ?
I have never seen one of these.
There is not waterbox.

It's a FPP Waveblaster 2 pipe. Normally, you would run the waterbox in the rear under the battery box with this pipe. It is a nice pipe, doesn't rev out as much as the speedwerx or Octane tho.

not close, revs to about 7200 tops on a stock 701, type nine revs much higher. not much choice for pipe in a b1.

Re: Waveblaster B1, What Pipe Is This ?

I was thinking about putting it on my 800pv with an adapter in my blaster. so type 9 wold be the way to go with that motor? besides the obvious wdk pipe but im not dealing with waiting half a year for a pipe

If you can get the type 9 to work, it would be a much better option. The type 9, Octane and Powerfactory are all very close in terms of output. The Powerfactory is a Octane pipe layed down with a little different tuning. The 800PV motor with one of these would be a nice set up. Just got to get it to work with the manifold.

Re: Waveblaster B1, What Pipe Is This ?

so say I could get one of those pipes to work or this WB2 pipe with a manifold on the 800PV motor... would I be in race gas territory or would 93 work?

Re: Waveblaster B1, What Pipe Is This ?

the pipe does not really dictate the fuel requirement. it is part of the package. i ran this pipe on my 701 with pump gas.
but scott is right, i think the type 9 would work better unless you find the above pipe and cut about 1/2 " out of the chamber to shorten the pipe a little to let it rev more.

what makes this pipe so good is it is mounted so strong it will never have issues. but then again unless you have all the forward clearance it will not work.

what ski are you looking to put it in? 800 motor is much bigger than a 701 so that would move the pipe more forward. no way this would work in a superjet with a 701 much less a 800
