Re: My new build

i would think about going up 1* on the pitch on top. i am running the same setup minus the porting and using the 11/17 hooker
also watch out for detonation with that high compression on pump gas, atleast with wot buoy chasing
i had to take mine back to 180 to be safe

you will have more speed with the riva intake but it won't hook up for **** in hard turns. worx 201 is what most of us use.

Lee....thanks for the heads up. I'll start looking for that intake and you think I'll need to have the pitch increased huh?

Re: My new build

i would try the prop first it might be ok, it just depends on tj's porting. try it, if your rpm's are to high then up the pitch.

Re: My new build

depending on his porting, my flattop 785 version was only about 2 mph slower than my stroker. if you want wicked fast your gonna need a speedworx or octane dry pipe. either one is good for 500 rpm's over the b pipe. which equates to almost 5 mph
with the same motor

Re: My new build

Hmm...just picked up this new MOD pipe too....although those pipes are a lot of work to work on, work with and maintaining them I would assume...

He told me you were his toy tester....he said you always got the cool "new" stuff so he got to try them out LOL

Re: My new build

Do you mind sharing a picture of the pistons especially the pin location changes ?
I've heard a lot about people changing pin position but never seen one so I'm just curious.
If it's too much "builder's secret", no problem I understand... thank you
