Just bought a 94 B1

Hey all, I just bought a 94 WB1 and its bone stock. I was wondering whats the best recommended impeller for this ski. Am interested in bottom end for some wave/wake jumping. Any input greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dre

Re: Just bought a 94 B1

Last summer my B1 ripped with a 10/18 skat and coffmans signature pipe ripped out of the hole and on top end. I was told that the pipe worked better than a factory b pipe. but most people will tell you go with the b and like a hooker impeller. but my route was cheaper with the same/ close to the same results

But congrats on a great ski what ever you do it will be a blast! welcome to the club

Thanks, well am more familiar with skat trak and solas, who makes Hooker or is it hooker the brand or model. And I also plan on putting a pipe but am sure not FP, too expensive for me.

Re: Just bought a 94 B1

If your ski is stock I would probably stick with the stock Impeller. The stocker is pretty good all around. It's stainless steal and is pitched pretty well for low end. If it's in good shape no point in dropping $200.

I run a Solas 13/17 in 2 WB's and a SJ. The SJ is pretty much a stock machine, but the stock imp it came with was a thick cheap aluminum. And was beat up pretty bad. The 13/17 is what Impro's and most people recommend for low end.

Impro's ripped me off a couple times and the customer service was terrible.

Re: Just bought a 94 B1

As mentioned above, if it's stock, leave the stock prop in, you're better served putting the 200 you would spend on a prop towards a factory pipe.

Am just finishing my 650/750sx ski, complet tear down, shaved this and that, reinforced the hull, a few engine mods, a 14 straight pitch skat-trak and footholds and so on and on. That was my winter project almost ready for the paint now.

Nice sounds like you have plenty of experience before the blaster already.
