Finally Fixed

If you've been following the previos thread "Modded Blaster Jetting" I finally got the problem fixed .

It was the off brand carb kit , I put in OEM parts and whadaya know 97% of the problem went away, I still have a slight bog at WOT and max RPM but I'm pertty sure I can tune that out with the screws.

How about who made the other carb kit? Some off brand, or some brand we know, just one that is not any good.

I learned years ago to use real Mikuni kits or to expect trouble.

Re: Finally Fixed

I went back to the original 152.5 so I would be back to where I was before the carb rebuild and reed change .

There was nothing I coud see wrong with the kit except the rubber seemed to expand with gas contact,ie the o-rings got slightly oversize, I figured the diaphrams were doing the same and maybe reducing flow?????? probably from ethanol.

It was a Jetlyne
