Blaster battery location

I was just wondering if anyone has played with locating the battery in different places and what the results were. I've seen where alot of guys put it underneath the stock location. I was thinking about putting where the stock waterbox used to be. Its wide open there now that I've moved the waterbox. I just don't know if that would help or hurt the handling.

Re: Blaster battery location

I moved my battery, I also removed the old battery box and replaced it with a teflon plastic thingy.

I used fiberglass, I made a fiberglass box that fits the battery like a glove, I attached it to the body using some more fiberglass. it is right next to the carburetors now.

Works for me, the reason that I moved it was because I want to see the water level in my ski when I ride and it is easier to work with it.
