94 blaster... decent ski?

Hiya folks! Watching a '94 blaster, looks like it's in real good shape, decent price (i think) Are there "good" and "better" years for these? I've never ridden 1, so i'm in the dark here.

thanks much!

Re: 94 blaster... decent ski?

yes the 96 blaster might be a tad bit more powerful but the 61xs are just as much a gas as the 62Ts.Just find 1 make sure its not knackered an reliable an get out on the water an rip ,get wet and have fun and OHH by the way welcome to the elite blaster club. I traded my WB 2 for my WB 1 and I have never looked back on that decision.

X2...... The 93's and 94 HANDLE better then the 96's ! Spoke with the Gentleman that was on the design team for Yamaha that did the B1 the other day up at Dasa. I was asking if Yamaha did in fact redesign the bottom as rumored to compete with the Hx's. He flat out laughed at the Urban legend. Said the molds were just flat worn out / over used....thats were that hook in the hull comes from on the 96's. All the 96's I've owned have been way squirley compared to the 94's I've had....and thats MANY!

the twin carbs and better cases are cool...but really dont do all that much in stock or close to stock skis.

JUST picked up a running stright 95 for 295.00....way pumped about it! might be the new power valve dasa ski
