2 Seperate Blaster Issues, help me fix them

So, I have two blasters and two problems.

One is getting no spark. It'll crank when I hit the start button but I get no spark so it won't turnover.
WHat should I check out?

The other Blaster, I hadn't used in 2 years since, something happened(hydrolocked?) to the engine and then the salt water corroded it.
I took out the engine 2 years ago, and just picked up a replacement.

before I put the engine in, I twist the driveshaft that drives the impeller, in the hull(not off the engine) and feel it noticably hitting. Could I have bent it when pulling the engine out? was it always like this and I rode with it? Is this just one of those expanding metal scenarios.

I can twist it past the "grinding" without a problem. I would imagine, that the engine woulf be able to do the same even easier. What could this be, can't tell where or what is grinding.

thanks

It is highly doubtful that you bent the drive shaft when pulling the motor. I would check the impeller and make sure that it is not bent causing it to hit against the housing.

More than likley corrosion swelled the wear ring in a spot(Hotspot) not real bad if you can turn past it by hand

yeah I doubted bent shaft aswell, as that seams thick. Will that highspot wear away on it's on, or is it best to try to sand it down if that is the case.

also, any input on not getting any spark in the other blaster? how do I troubleshoot it? what first.

thanks

Update: On the no spark issue.

Replaced the switch and still didn't work, checked my wires and had a bad crimp. The original problem was cause by a bad Lanyard kill switch though.
