x2 finger trim

hey guys i got an 87 x2 im trying to eliminate the stock know trim stock trim steup on it an make it like a finger lever on the bars and jus pull it when i need the trim to go up any one got any ideas or any ways about going about this?

dam thats kinda pricey is there a way to to like jus run a cable from it up to the bars o do i have to have that whole setup?
