| X-2's and lanyards? For those who ride surf and run a lanyard....
How the hell do you do it? I have enough trouble recovering and mounting my ski just before the next monster wave takes us out. I can't imagine also having to plug in a lanyard.
Would be easy on a pole ski as the handle bars are so close, but X-2's are a very different beast. It's a real pain on my mates Gen2 800 also! The lanyard pops out while you have both hands on the back of the ski during a re-mount...
Is there a secret, or are your waves tiny?

| Re: X-2's and lanyards? I don't have a lanyard... Just wanting to get some feedback on those that do! They're a good safety measure on flat water...

| Re: X-2's and lanyards? side mounting is easy if you have the power and your nozzle is set to turn further than stock.
lay the ski on the left side. put your right foot in place. crank the bars to the right and gas it while dragging your left leg in the water. you might do a complete circle before youre up, but youve just side mounted your x2. |

| Re: X-2's and lanyards? I have a lanyard on mine... I didn't think the remount was that difficult. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it at first, but I just pull my belly up on the seat like a beached whale, balance like superman, stick it in start it up and go. I keep my lanyard attached to my life jacket...

| Re: X-2's and lanyards? when your in the water grab the back of the ski and push it down in the water , then put your feet right the back of the foot wheel's and grip the ski with your knees , then grab the bars . if its done right you can balance it long enough to put your lanyard in and you can just stand right up as soon as you start the engine and take off that way you wont have to pull yourself up once you get going .
