Westcoast Pipe bolts

So I learned today that the flange is much smaller on a west-coast pipe as compared to every other pipe made. What does everyone do for pipe bolts?

Re: Westcoast Pipe bolts

for a while i used the stock bolts with 4 washers under each bolt head , you may have to modify the washers a bit to fit against the pipe , and be sure to tighten down evenly or the washers will bind up

Not a bad plan but I was looking for something a bit cleaner... I think those bolts are 1.25x8mm

they are fine thread and very rare at any local hardware stores. not sure on your use, but make sure you order flange head or socket head(as in allen headed) because if you order a regular bolt the head needs a 17 wrench/socket which does not fit next to the pipe. I've never owned a westcoast pipe, this is my experience with mariner/stock/factory pipes.

you should also buy stainless. even if your in fresh water only the heat and humidity will make them rust in no time. another thing is that when steel is in direct contact with aluminum it will cause the aluminum to literally fall apart. it flakes to pieces... so say byebye to yours threads....

...I could not even order them from my local fastenal.
