Water Injection on a Westcoast Pipe?

I have a later model westcoast pipe with the extra water fitting right where the head loops around. Do you think I would see any gains from doing water injection there?

I'm not sure, but that sounds like a water outlet

Re: Water Injection on a Westcoast Pipe?

I have no idea about that particular pipe, but more water = more bottom end (then top end suffers) less water = more top end (then bottom end suffers) Controlled water injection gives the best of both worlds as it shuts off the water at high rpm...

you need to know what that third fitting is. does it just go into the water jacket or is it a sprayer that is in the exhaust stream? pictures man!! pictures!

Controlled water injection is definitely what I am thinking. But the REAL question is, will this wescoast pipe with water injection give me better performance that my Coffman, particularly in the bottom end.

It dumps directly into the expansion chamber. There are two other fittings for the water jacket on the head pipe.

Re: Water Injection on a Westcoast Pipe?

hellz yeah you just need a sprayer barb to install into that fitting, a solenoid and a water controller and you are set! You can get micro-touch controllers for about 125 new.

Re: Water Injection on a Westcoast Pipe?

But will it be noticeably better? I know in theory it should work, but will I actually feel a difference?

Re: Water Injection on a Westcoast Pipe?

On mine that back outlet goes to the stinger and tees to the front right pisser. The other one by the bend on top goes to the head. You may have know this already.
