stator not producing good voltage

Just as the title say stator not producing good voltage.... with a multimeter straight to the stator the max volts I see produced is around 8 volts. its a new stator so I'm wondering if my fly wheel demagnetized or something crazy like that!

Re: stator not producing good voltage

The output of the stator is A/C... You really need to measure at the battery when running...

Re: stator not producing good voltage

38 volts AC at 3000rpms! So I know its not a stator problem. Going with the voltage regulator now...

I double checked that one. Seem the problem is the regulator doesn't test out with in specs
