anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

oooh I hear it coming on this one.

I love my thumb throttle. most finger throttles make a ski completely unridable for me. so why do I have to stick with my black plastic kawasaki stock thumb throttle that I lost a screw to? who runs aftermarket and show me some pics!

NO upside down finger throttles allowed

Re: anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

thumb throttles lose the opposing thumb ability on your right hand for holding onto the grips properly.

i can't stand 'em..... but you like them and thats okay.....

I don't beleive it. Someone actually makes an aftermarket thumb throttle!?!?
Usually aftermarket stuff is made to improve on an idea. That's why they make finger throttles!!!!!! Wow I bet they sell 4 of those world wide amd 3 of them go to those Conn. boys.

Re: anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

those are sick wadman and very tempting, my argument is i would rather jump using all 4 fingers rather than pinky index and thumb.

Re: anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

you can use just one finger to pull in a finger throttle.

so 3 fingers and a thumb to hold on with
or use just 4 fingers?

here is a good test to try out today. starting now! try to not use your thumb to do every day things. let me know how you make out. you all ready failed i see you thumb on your mouse. ok start over now.

Whoaaaa chief, lol, not me, I HATE riding with a thumb throttle! But I got a friend, and his wife wants a left handed thumb throttle, no joke, see if you can find one of those!

Re: anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

i think the real test is rubbing one out with just your thumb and 3 fingers, just donest feel right, gotta have that index finger in on the action, haha now you there has been tons of field research on that one...

Re: anyone run an aftermarket thumb throttle?

After riding/racing ATC's (since the 70's) and quads the thumb throttle just made sense. Now with 7 ski's only one has the finger throttle (Laserjet that is totally stock and came with one) I won't switch away from thumb throttles..
