Accusteer on Ebay.....WOW, just.......WOW!

I've looking for one of these or a UMI so I have a pretty good idea what they are worth and its nowhere near $425!! Is it me or is this rare part thing getting out of hand?

That is ridiculous! Seeing this makes me feel like I got a good deal on my UMI top stop that I got in January for $150.

LOL I called chadgnarly when I saw that today!! That's big coin and it's not even the beefy top.

I did just sell 2 of those 1 for $275 and 1 for $325. They are getting harder to find but $425 is nuts

LOL! Yeah......

I cringe at the thought of spending even $250 on a used UMI or Accusteer when you can get a brand new UMI top stop for just over $300. And half of the ones I've seen for that have worn out bearings or stops!

I found a company that is still selling the UMI's so I sent them an email to see if they would do some kind of group buy on them. Can't hurt to ask

Otherwise I'm just gonna pay full price for one. Atleast I know it won't be worn out....

Re: Accusteer on Ebay.....WOW, just.......WOW!

I got one years back for I think 150 shipped brand new. Looks like I will hold onto my UMI and my Accusteer before I sell because i will not be able ot find another. For that kind of money... you could get one from Japan.

When you gusy talk of Sacremento are you talkign about the Snake? Anyone remember him? No he goes by jet Ski Buzzard or something. he has a story similar ot the one below:

Just a note on the seller. I forget what their name was but they used to have a different username. They were always selling flywheels and driveshafts that were "supposedly" lightened by Group K. I knew it was BS because I have never heard or seen of Group K selling drive shaft lightening. Someone on PWCT bought one and there was a thread about it. I think the seller was just chucking up a stock shaft in a lathe and making a pass across it so it would look shiny. Then selling them for like 100 bucks.

take a look at that pump. I know Sweetemos was sellign left over blueprinted OEM pumps in all that PJS stuff they had for sale years back. But I seriously doubt that pump the seller has no for sale has been blueprinted. Looks like someone took a dremel and snad blaster to it to make it look different. Then sell it for a high dollar claiming it is something it is now.

I can't remember for sure but the seller might have been a forum member. I think i bought somethign off the seller once, I will have to look up the details on paypal.

If you have been around the block once or twice you can remember these things and have seen them once before.

Re: Accusteer on Ebay.....WOW, just.......WOW!

Looks like they are out of the steering systems...HOWEVER....he did say that if enough people are interested that UMI may make another production run. I have no idea how many they would need or how much they would be but I'll find out. If anyone would be interested let me know.
