89 X2 Build

i started my build tonight and what i found was not pretty at all...i pulled the gas tank and the motor and the whole inside of the hull was covered in oil i'm thinking it was from the oil tank or the last owner rode it in the baltimore inner harbor....i took it out and want to block it off however i was unable to get the oil pump off any ideas?
