    I've sprayed both gel coat and Imron. Both are tricky. What you shoot is what you get. You want to get it as flat as possible because wetsanding is not desireable

    Anyway, rotate the stator plate counter clockwise .131" (5/32"), re-loctite the stator plate screws and your done.
