New to the group but been lurking a while. Having a weird issue with these two skis, hits about 1500 RPM and sounds like it's bouncing off a rev limiter but sometimes it will rev over and run fine. Replaced head gasket and both carbs rebuilt when I first got the skis, full fuel system rebuilt as well as oil block offs. Do these carbs need return line restrictions. Does the crankcase drain cause fuel issues because the pulse line isn't pulling fuel?

I have a 2017 Waverunner Ex. recently purchased. Only had 20hrs on it. been running great. I now have 54 hrs. I'm an ocean rider been using it every day. Was riding yesterday ski stopped running acted as if it was running out of fuel. I have a half a tank of fuel .Turns over and can smell fuel. Not familiar with the mechanics of the ski as of yet. Hoping for a direction or quick fix. Thank you
Can anyone tell me, Is it mandatory to use yamalube 2 cycle oil in my waverunner or can I use a different brand such as penzoil or supertech from WalMart.
